What is the sam® Device from ZetrOZ?
The patented sam® device uses ultrasound waves to stimulate tissue regeneration and healing. Before, you could only obtain this treatment by going to a sports medicine clinic or a physical therapist, where a specially trained technician would give you this ultrasound-based treatment. With the sam® device, you can use or even purchase a portable device that allows you to administer this type of treatment in the comfort of your home. We’ve seen good results with tendon strains or sprains, ligament strains, tennis elbow, and other injuries. The sam® device is tiny, about the size of a key fob, allowing it to be very discreet so you can use it anywhere.
How We Use the sam® Device at MCRM
We primarily use the sam® in two ways at our regenerative medicine clinic. The first way is if someone has a sprain or other injury where they’re not quite ready to invest in other regenerative medicine treatments such as PRP or stem cell treatments, we can start with the sam® device to see how their body reacts. In addition, we also can use the sam® device as a supplement to other regenerative medicine treatments to help “supercharge” the healing process.
