MCRM Excited to Announce our New Ultrasound Machine

At The Michigan Center for Regenerative Medicine, we feel strongly that one of the ways to provide the highest level of care to our patients is by investing in the latest medical equipment. You can see this in how we’ve recently moved and completely upgraded our regenerative medicine clinic from the ground up to serve our patients. As part of this transition, we’re extremely excited about a recent addition to our clinic, which is a new ultrasound machine.

Why Are Ultrasound Machines Important in Regenerative Medicine Clinics?

Ultrasound has been in use for decades and when many people think of ultrasound they think of a sonogram machine used to determine the sex and health of a baby during pregnancy. While this is a wonderful use for ultrasound technology, there are a whole host of other ways doctors and medical professionals use ultrasound machines to provide care to their patients. In fact, there are many ways ultrasound technology can be used in orthopedic procedures as well.

Ultrasound can be used to help detect muscle and tendon tears and this technology can also help to assess the health of a tendon or joint. In addition, for regenerative medicine treatments, ultrasound technology can help our Board Certified physicians accurately administer injections into the correct joint space or muscle tissue.

Ultrasound Technology Constantly Improving

Ultrasound technology, as is the case with almost all types of technology is constantly improving. Better technology allows us to deliver an even higher level of patient care. This improved visualization during interventional procedures is invaluable when it comes to advancing the entire field of regenerative medicine.

Mindray TE5 Ultrasound Machine

The ultrasound machine that we’re excited about here at MCRM is the Mindray TE5. This machine will give us much better image quality so that we can have the best possible outcomes when it comes to our interventional procedures. Mindray is a leader in the ultrasound industry and we’re extremely excited to be using one of their most state of the art machines in our regenerative medicine clinic.
