What can regenerative skin care treat?
Regenerative skin care uses PRP, microneedling, and red light therapy to improve skin health. It may help with fine lines, wrinkles, tone and texture, acne scars, stretch marks, and loose skin. The microneedling PRP facial, often called the Vampire Facial, combines microneedling with your own PRP to support collagen production.
Regenerative skin care uses your body’s own healing response to improve the health and look of your skin. At the Michigan Center for Regenerative Medicine, treatments include platelet-rich plasma (PRP), microneedling, and red light therapy, and may help with fine lines, wrinkles, tone and texture, acne scars, stretch marks, and loose skin.
The Microneedling PRP Facial (Vampire Facial)

Microneedling creates tiny, controlled channels in the skin that trigger a natural healing response, including the production of collagen and elastin. Adding PRP from your own blood delivers growth factors that support that response.
For some patients, your provider may also add exosomes or peptides. Peptides are building blocks involved in collagen production and hydration. Exosome products are not FDA-approved and the research is still early, so your provider will review the evidence, risks, and costs with you first. Red Light Therapy
Red light therapy is a non-surgical treatment that may support collagen and elastin production, skin tone and texture, and healing. It is often added to other skin treatments.
