- Bone marrow collection with a local anesthetic
- Processing and long-term cryogenic storage through Forever Labs, an ISO-certified biobank
- Release of your cells if your physician recommends treatment later

Conditions
Conditions Our Physicians Evaluate
Stored cells may be considered later for arthritis, tendon injuries, and rotator cuff problems.
Knee arthritis and old injuries can limit walks and stairs. An exam shows which options fit.
Shoulder symptoms can come from tendons, the joint or nerves, so diagnosis comes first.
Back discomfort does not always start in a disc. Careful evaluation guides the next step.
Hip, elbow and ankle concerns are reviewed with your history, exam and imaging.
Lingering problems after a sports injury or car accident get a full evaluation.
Neuropathy, tendinitis, plantar fasciitis and more. Browse every condition we evaluate.

FAQ
Stem Cell Storage Questions
Answers to common questions from Detroit patients. Your physician can address your specific situation during a consultation.
Are stored cells only used for me?
Yes. Stored cells are your own and are kept for your possible future treatment.
Where are cells collected?
Collection takes place at our Rochester Hills clinic.
Who is a candidate for banking?
Healthy adults who want to plan ahead, as well as active people and athletes, often ask about banking. Your physician will review your health history first.
Is banking the same as stem cell therapy?
No. Banking stores your cells for later. Stem cell therapy places concentrated cells into an injured area, usually in the same visit they are collected.
What is stem cell banking?
Stem cell banking collects your own adult stem cells, most often from bone marrow, and stores them for possible use in future regenerative treatment.
Where are the cells stored?
Cells are processed and placed in long-term cryogenic storage through our banking partner, Forever Labs, an ISO-certified biobank.
How are the cells collected?
A small amount of bone marrow is collected, usually from the back of the hip, using a local anesthetic during an outpatient visit.
Why bank cells now?
Stem cell numbers and activity decline with age. Banking preserves cells collected at your current age for possible future use.
Where is the clinic for Detroit patients?
Our clinic is at 355 Barclay Circle, Suite A, Rochester Hills, MI 48307. Call (248) 216-1008 for directions.
