Tricare Now Covering PRP Treatment for Active Duty Military for Knee Osteoarthritis

As you may or may not know, our very own Dr. John Santa Ana is a veteran who has worked with military personnel for decades. One of his passions is helping our armed forces members deal with chronic health issues, many of which have arisen due to their time in the military. We recently were extremely excited to learn that Tricare is now covering PRP treatment for active duty military for those dealing with knee osteoarthritis.

What is Tricare?

Tricare combines the healthcare resources of the military with a network of civilian health care providers and institutions. This allows active duty military as well as their family members and retirees to receive high quality healthcare services.
