We hope you’re doing well and that your practice is thriving during these somewhat uncertain times. We thought it would be a good idea to bring you up to speed on a few of the areas we’re focusing on over the next few months.
Michigan Center for Regenerative Medicine Has a New Ultrasound Machine
At Michigan Center for Regenerative Medicine, we’re constantly investigating the latest technology to ensure we’re providing the highest level of care for our patients. Because of this we’ve recently invested in a new ultrasound machine, the Mindray TE5. This machine allows us to deliver the highest level of care to our patients thanks to improved visualization during interventional procedures.

Now Offering Electro Diagnostic Studies (EMG’s)
At MCRM we wanted to let our referral partners know that we’re now offering Electro Diagnostic Studies or EMG’s to patients in our Rochester based clinic. We’re excited to offer these in-clinic procedures not only to our patients, but to our referring partners as well.
If you’re not familiar with these studies they help to indicate how well a patient’s nerves are functioning. Our equipment allows us to trace the nerve all the way from where it exits the spinal cord to the tips of the extremities that are affected.
As a clinician it’s beneficial to know whether a nerve issue is emergent or not so you can develop the proper treatment plan. EMG’s can save doctors’ time and supplement what you can get from other imaging studies such as an MRI or CAT scan.
If you’re interested in scheduling an EMG for one of your patients feel free to reach out to our office by phone at (248) 216-1008. Please ensure your patient wears loose fitting clothing and does not apply any strong lotions or perfumes prior to the procedure. We look forward to offering this useful diagnostic tool to you and your medical practice.
