Stem Cell Therapy in Michigan

I was told by a orthopedic surgeon that I needed surgery for a tear in my meniscus, fortunately I found Dr. Farhat at regenerative medicine. I recieved PRP and almost immediately the pain started to go away. This is the future of medicine.

Dr. Robert Farhat is extremely professional, educational & most of all cares about his patients. I went there for a tear in my shoulder, had platelet replacement therapy/surgery. (I had struggled for 6 months before this, going to PT, etc. no luck,
and I did not want regular surgery.)
I am back to lifting weights as prior to my injury, hiking etc. I am a True believer in this type of medical procedure!

Dr. Nabity is awesome! He spent over an hour with my husband and me going over my MRI’s for hip issues and all other information. He explained everything about PRP and answered all my questions. While we were there, he even checked out my husband’s hip problem too and gave him suggestions as well. I am very pleased with the plan of action we chose together. Looking forward to healing!!

This is only a review for the first consultation. I met with Dr. Santa Anna and I was very impressed with his ability to explain my options after looking at my previous MRI's and also doing ultra sound on my shoulder. I did not feel any pressure and he gave me multiple options with his opinion on what would be the best option. I have not gotten any procedures yet and will update after I do. This is for those that might be nervous about going here for their first consultation.

I have been seeing Dr. Farhat for almost 5 or six years now. Was in an auto accident that has given me problems which led to five surgeries over the last six years. He is one of the only people that I believe that has helped my pain from my back and from my neck. He joined a wonderful group of doctors that I had seen before and I would have nothing but good things to say about every single one of them and highly recommend any of these physicians to anybody that needs care to get out of the ailment’s they have. Dr. Farhat and his team are fantastic! After he helped me through resolving some lower back pain last year, I returned this spring for PRP in both knees. This procedure greatly improved my everyday activities: getting up from a chair, getting in and out of a car, and so much more! An added bonus is that I had been taking pain reliever once or twice a week for achey knees, but I haven't needed it even once since. A total win!

It has been 3 months since I had my bone marrow/PRF & PRP treatments. I had my left knee, both hips and L-3,4,5 transplant-injections. Before treatment my pain level was unbearable. I couldn’t get through a day or night without pain. I couldn’t sleep on my side (hips), my knee woke me up many times each night. I was having serious SI joint flares for a few months and was having a hard time working because of the pain and inability to walk very well. My journey was a 17-year battle to find the right help. Living with chronic pain impacts one’s entire life, including the relationship between others and one’s self. Nothing was a long-term solution after trying everything from laser therapy, chiropractic care, physical therapy, caudal epidural injections, and RfTCs (Radio Frequency Thermography).

When I couldn’t sleep, I would use the internet and social media to look for scientific advances that might achieve my goal of pain relief. One of those late-night scrolls is how I became acquainted with the Michigan Center for Regenerative Medicine.

For those experiencing similar struggles, I will let you know that it takes time for your body to get the full benefits of stem cell or platelet therapy. You will not go in, have the procedure, and be jumping rope or walking five miles the next day. It took me about 5-months to really begin seeing results (I also started stem cell wave therapy to help the healing progress). And it has only been this summer that my mobility and pain level has reached nearer to the standards I seek to achieve.

Sorry for the length, but I know how much the testimonies of others and peer-reviewed research have encouraged me to try new avenues. It has been an exhaustive journey for me. If there is anything I learn or experience that can help someone else in a similar situation, I am willing to share it in hopes that no one will have to endure some of the more horrific and disheartening parts of this journey.

Dr. Nabity is awesome. My son was left with chronic knee pain after a football injury and 3 surgeries. He could not do normal daily activities without being in pain. His surgeon told him he may have to live with the pain. Not accepting that answer we had his surgeon try Cortisone and PRP injections. Neither of those worked. His surgeon said the only option left was a 4th surgery.

Reluctant to have a 4th surgery we looked for other options. We decided to give Regenerative Medicine another try. This time with Dr. Nabity and the Michigan Center for Regenerative Medicine.
