Teaching the Field: Dr. Nabity and Dr. Santa Ana Head to the 2026 IOF MAX with TOBI Conference

We’re excited to announce that two of our Board-Certified doctors, Dr. Tom Nabity and Dr. John Santa Ana, have been selected to teach and present at the 2026 IOF Max with TOBI Conference. This conference will run from June 17-20 in Denver, Colorado. When your doctors are asked to train other doctors on the latest regenerative medicine treatment methods, it shows the level of expertise you’ll receive when you come under the care of the team at The Michigan Center for Regenerative Medicine.

Why This Year is Notable for the 2026 IOF Max with TOBI Conference

The IOF (Interventional Orthobiologics Foundation) and TOBI (The Orthobiologic Institute) are the two leading organizations in orthobiologics. These two well-respected organizations typically hold separate conferences, IOF in the Summer and TOBI in the Spring. This year, these two organizations collaborated for the first time to host a single event, bringing the field’s major figures together in one place. This year is a rare consolidation of two of the top organizations in the field of orthobiologics, which makes it even more of an honor that two of our own doctors have been selected to speak and teach at this highly esteemed event.

What Our Doctors Will Be Presenting and Teaching At The 2026 IOF Max With TOBI Conference

Our doctors will be presenting and teaching at this year’s conference. Dr. Nabity will present a lecture on emerging treatment methods in regenerative medicine and instruct hands-on courses on intermediate spine and advanced hip and knee treatments. Dr. Santa Ana will be instructing two courses for other doctors, one on intermediate hip and knee treatments and another on intermediate spine procedures.

Why Being Chosen to Teach At The 2026 IOF Max With TOBI Matters

Only a small, select group of physicians is invited to instruct at these conferences each year. The fact that both Dr. Nabity and Dr. Santa Ana will be teaching at this year’s conference shows the respect our doctors continue to receive from the larger regenerative medicine community. All of the certifications, fellowships, and training our doctors have completed establish expertise, which is why our Board-Certified doctors continue to be asked to instruct not just the beginner courses at the 2026 IOF Max With TOBI conference, but the higher-level courses that require the most expertise.

At The Michigan Center for Regenerative Medicine, our patients should be excited to know not only that our doctors regularly attend the preeminent conferences in orthobiologics, but also that our team regularly presents new findings and instructs other doctors on how to utilize some of the latest techniques in this constantly evolving field of medicine.
