What is Regenerative Medicine?

Regenerative medicine is a newer branch of medicine that works by restoring damaged cells and tissues to restore their function and alleviate pain. For knee pain patients, regenerative medicine offers excellent treatments that can improve mobility and range of motion and reduce pain levels. It can provide effective knee pain relief and has the added benefits of avoiding risky surgeries and taking powerful medications. Regenerative medicine can be an excellent option for those with knee pain when other chronic pain treatments haven’t worked as well. If you want to alleviate your knee pain and heal damaged tissues and cells in the knee, regenerative medicine is an excellent option.

Stem Cell Therapies for Knee Pain in Dearborn, MI

Stem cells are a unique type of cell that can grow into any cell in the human body. For knee pain patients, stem cells can replace damaged tissues in the knee, like cartilage, which can be responsible for knee pain and loss of mobility. Stem cell injections in the knee can be an excellent option for patients who have,

  • Arthritis of the knee
  • Ligament injuries
  • Meniscus tears
  • Traumatic injuries to the knee
  • Degenerative conditions

If past treatments haven’t been able to improve your knee pain and restore your ability, stem cell therapies can be an excellent option to provide you with effective and safe pain relief.

Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapies for Knee Pain in Dearborn

Platelet-rich plasma therapy, or PRP, is a minimally invasive regenerative medicine technique that uses a concentrated serum of the body’s own platelets to facilitate a healing response in the body. For patients with knee pain, PRP can offer excellent healing benefits, knee pain reduction, and improved mobility. PRP can be a great option to reduce knee pain and improve mobility in patients with:

  • Osteoarthritis
  • Ligament and tendon injuries of the knee
  • Traumatic injuries of the knee

PRP has shown great promise in reducing knee pain levels and speeding up the healing process of injuries. PRP therapy is a great option for knee pain patients who want to avoid knee replacement surgery, and for those who have not gotten good results from other pain management treatments.
